Every photograph on this site is licensed stock. Here is where each one came from and who took it.

All 49 photographs on Shift & Sole are licensed through Pexels, which does not require attribution. We publish it anyway: a site built on telling you where its figures came from should not make an exception for its pictures.

What these photographs are and are not. They are illustrative images of the kind of product being discussed — a leather clog, a dual-head stethoscope, a knee-high compression sock. None of them is a photograph of the specific model recommended on the page, and none is captioned as one. We own no product photography and have never held any of these products, so there is nothing to photograph. If a product photograph ever appears here supplied through a retailer’s licensed feed, it will appear alongside a link to that product and nowhere else.
